 Dear Howick Historical Village

Thank you for letting us come to your museum I really enjoyed all the activities, Mrs White I was really excited when we entered the cold classrooms Kyra and I were scared when you checked our nails, the bit I liked was when we had a spelling challenge, I learnt the word negligence, it was really difficult to spell at least someone was able to spell it. Mrs Hallam I had a great time playing with the indoor toys, they looked really interesting I went with Candice’s idea for the one that it changes when you move your hand. Our first activity was the outdoor games most of them was really tricky and entertaining, the stilts were really challenging and I have tried all of them and they were easy going. I had an amazing day at Howick Historical Village and I will come again maybe with my family.

Xtra maths

I have really slowed down on adding I need to stay focused and not look around at what people are doing.

My Goal settings

Reflecting and Goal Setting
Term 2-3

Reading:
This term I learnt: how to: read clearly and pronounce the words correctly.

My reading goal for Term 3 is: to understand what I’m reading about and why.
To achieve my goal I will need to: read a book for 20 minutes and looking in the dictionary for the words I’m not sure of and what it means.
Writing:
This term I learnt to: make my speech and recount interesting by using hooks, [to persuade the reader.]

My writing goal for Term 3: is whatever I write has to be long at least up to 3 minutes, it needs to make sense and trying to write neatly.
To achieve my goal: I will need to use powerful words, not just to use capital letters where ever I want it to be and to write in my own words
Maths:
This term I learnt  how to: subtract, add and multiply big numbers.

My maths goal for Term 3 is to practise my basic facts and to know what percentages mean.
To achieve my goal I will need to write a number story and try to solve it and write down all the times tables and practise them till I know  from 2-12.
Personal:
This term I need to: practise answering question in reading, understanding what I’m about to write, and I have to know the meanings of percentages, axis and other maths words.

My personal goal for Term 3 is: to write the meaning of the words I don’t know.
To achieve my goal I will need to: do more school work on my laptop at home in my spare time.
