WHERE: It happened in Dunedin
WHAT: An eight year old boy got bitten by a dog on the his left ear, and all he said was “ a dog just bit my ear’’ as soon as his parents found out that he had been bitten by a dog they took him to the hospital. Lucky for the boy the doctors managed to reattach the ear during the operation.
WHY or HOW it happened: Carley Ladlow said that “ he was just lying on his bed when the dog all of a sudden jumped up and starting mauling him.

We enjoyed reading your current events article about a little boy being mauled by a dog. It was both wonderful, scary and sad. We will now always ask the owner before stroking their dog.
